Head Preparation : No need to skin the head—we can handle skinning and removing eyes, tongue, brain, and other major tissue for a small fee.

Drop-Off : Once we receive your order, we’ll contact you to set up a drop-off time.

Proof of Ownership : When dropping off your skull, please bring any relevant documentation to prove lawful ownership, such as a species license, trapping license, LEH (Limited Entry Hunting, or any other applicable proof of legal possession.

• Course Difficulty: Most students succeed on their first try, and those who don’t have a very low rate of failure on subsequent attempts. We thoroughly prepare you for the exams and provide support to ensure your success.

• Eligibility: To take the Canadian Firearms Safety Course, you must be a Canadian resident and at least 12 years old.

  For the CORE Course and to obtain your Fish and Wildlife ID, you must be a BC resident (having lived in BC for at least six months) and at least 10 years old.

• Refund Policy: Courses are refundable up to one month before the course date. If you cancel 1 to 4 weeks before, the fee will be deferred to the next class. No refunds are given within 7 days of the course.

• Learning Disabilities: We aim to provide the best learning opportunity for all students. Our instructors are trained to accommodate different learning needs, so feel free to reach out if you have questions or need specific accommodations.

• Do you ship during winter?
  Yes, we do. However, we avoid shipping when temperatures drop below -15°C to ensure the beetles’ survival.

• Will they survive shipping?
  Dermestid beetles are very hardy bugs and can survive several days without food or water. We ship them via Canada Post’s priority mail service across Canada.

• How do I take care of them?
  After receiving your order, we’ll send you a detailed care guide with tips and tricks. We’ve gathered plenty of knowledge over the years and are excited to share it to help you keep your beetles healthy and productive.
